What a wonderful cart full of treasures this old man peddlar has for you.  This old man would be 24" tall if standing straight, but he is bending over his cart.  Porcelain head, hands and feet on a cloth body with armature.  Mohair beard and hair.  Outfit consists of pants, hand knitted sweater and hat,  wool coat.  His hand made wood cart has many hand made items including reproduction paper boxes of items from time gone by.   There are at least ten hand made porcelain items in the cart and I can provide you a complete list and/or more photos, just send me an email.  $450.00 set

In England during the 19th century, peddlers traveled around the countryside providing goods and services to the people.  One such vendor was a puppet master who transported his theater on his back.  He would set up in the town square and conduct his show.  This is Elaine's interpretation of a hand crafted Puppet Master.  He has porcelain head, arms and feet with a mohair wig.  His outfit consists of a leather vest, cotton shirt, corduroy pants, felt hat and hand crochet scarf.  He has an assortment of 12 porcelain puppets, including Punch, Judy, Clowns, Humpty Dumpty, Monkey, various hand and stick puppets. All puppets can be arranged to hang from his wooden puppet stand as shown.  He has a hand made paper/cardboard theater strapped to his back which can be removed and set up to resemble the puppet stage.  $600.00 set
